I like it alot! But I do feel that these smaller bodies are more well suited for smaller lenses. I got a Vivitar 28-90mm which is heavy-ish, but haven't tried it yet, lets see.

Warning if you wear glasses: the bare view-finder is not suitable for use with them.

I'm currently shooting with the MX I'm intending to sell. I want to make sure the film comes out right.

Check my "Hello Ladies" post

My 50mm F1.7 was bought at MXV for £24 plus postage, it does have one or two specks of dust, but nothing special, works great. I'm sure on ebay I'd pay more for it.

Are you crazy? He's just family, But the Limiteds are...

LOL

Hefty:
Although I'd be very happy to sell you the lens, you could just look around for a broken 50 F1.7. I actually have one, but I'm still trying to fix it.

BTW, a note on the 50mm. The F1.4 looks about the same, but is much better built than the F1.7.

I'm really annoyed with the sigma's glass, I'm thinking I might have done that to it... I didn't see it at all before, but I also cant remember mishandling the lens in any way.

Hi.
Continuing the cleaning...

Sigma 28-105mm F2.8-4
This is actually pretty good, better at 105mm than the Tamron adaptall I have (which in turn trumps it for bokeh). But the range really isn't the best (not as nice as a 17-70mm would be).
It does not extend when focusing, which I found nice.

The lens is excellent cosmetically, but there are some specks of dust inside (between the two front elements).
There is also a small nick to the glass , which I'm tring to show as best I can

Otherwise the lens is fine.

I must warn it wont hold zoom when turned vertically.

The lens comes with original caps and petal hood. I'll supply it in a soft pouch.

Price: £58 shipped to UK. Or trade for the 17-70mm

Reviving this as to see if anyone wants to grab it before it goes on ebay.

Following advice, I'm selling some of my lenses to make money and focus on getting a 17-70mm and 55-300mm (probably get this one first).

For sale is a Sigma consumer range tele zoom lens.

Its in great cosmetic and mechanical condition.

Glass is fine, aside from some specks near the front element. I'll do a better picture tonight.

Comes with original front cap, but generic rear cap.

Rear glass is fine.

No hood unfortunately.

Price is £40 shipped to UK.

Good points. However the descriptions of almost all items I see dont show very much detail and they still sell.

But I think you are right.

Nothing special, consumer MF zoom.

See on ebay.

Probably a mistake to do a good description, showing the dust and all...

I've gotten some good deals and some not so great. No disasters yet. But I still have to sell of some stuff to say that its a great deal.

Buying lots is has the fun component of surprise, but you do have to be careful.
