And based upon what these lenses normally sell for as decided by the buyers, I think this is a very fair price. Not sure what point you are trying to make George. If you are inferring it is overpriced then I strongly disagree.

I'm just pointing out to those who may not be acquainted with this lens just how good it is. Well worth it at this money. I have no connection to the seller but I appreciate it when respected forum members have commented on items I have put up for sale. So when I see a good'un then I think it is worth pointing out.

I think it is a good idea to highlight in some way the best images posted to the gallery. Another competition style process though is probably a bit much. I would be all for a selective gallery to highlight the best images, akin to the PPG Premiere Collection and I think it best curated.

SRS are selling a white one with 01 prime for £149, if you don't mind white. That's a great price and you get a two year guarantee. I have been thinking of selling my Q but that price makes it hardly worthwhile.

This is a truly fantastic little lens and I think it is a very fair price.

Hi. Firstly, my sympathies for your predicament. I've been in France for a while, I know all about insurance companies and just about any other form of customer service here.

I have an 18-55mm WR in excellent condition, as new really as I only used it twice. I also have an excellent M50mm f1.7.

I have a Q with 01 prime, 04 toy wide and unofficial but good quality Q/K adaptor. I have been half-minded to sell but I haven't decided, would depend on price, which I haven't yet thought about either.

If I'm going on a planned landscape trip then the 12-24mm with large format filters and some longer primes would be the choice, plus heavy tripod, etc.

For a lightweight trip or where I am going for another purpose or a mixed purpose then DA15 and K30mm + small format filters would be the choice. However, I am seriously thinking of a Ricoh GR to use instead of the wide prime. No changing lenses and very versatile on a gorillapod.

I took it for a quick spin on my trip to the library and I was very pleasantly surprised. This is the worst reviewed M series prime over at the other place but I just don't get it. I found this lens to have very nice colour indeed and good tonality. Having a pixel peep at leaves showed good resolution and no ca evident (a good thing as ca is one of my bugbears). Some corner softness below f5.6 but no biggie there, just a case of learning how to best use the lens. It was very nice to use. If unsold I shall withdraw it from sale on Thursday and hang on until prices pick up again. I'd happily keep this lens but I am on a ruthless campaign to limit myself to ten lenses and I have the FA43 in preference to an M40.

Unusual but this was the only crop that made sense here:

Hi Kris, of course not. The prices do seem to be a bit cyclical. Not so far back they seemed to be going for around £80. At the moment I'm more concerned about making some lens cupboard space but if it doesn't sell I'll just wait until demand goes up again.

That's a good looking shot, I might well take the lens out for a spin around town later on.
