I followed all these tips and baited my garden with seeds, etc. but the girls from the last century the never showed up! Maybe I should have gone to the Sheffield Lyceum.

Disappointed.

Whenever I am waning I take a look through the portfolios of some of my favourite photographers and also the best of the offerings of 500pix, 1x and so forth and remind myself that I can rise to that level someday and possibly, but certainly only through trying harder.

I know the lens, its strengths and weaknesses. I have it and the 12-24 as well. I just want to benchmark its edge/corner sharpness because I slipped on a wet rock recently and bashed it so I fear I have decentred it. All assistance is appreciated.

Your mall would be ideal. So why do you say flurble then?

Thanks Jon, downloaded them all. Still would like a brick wall photo at various apertures. Still not sure what Flurble means.

Maximum size is 1024 pixels and you have disabled downloading. I am really after full size 4928 pizels and I need to download them so I can pixel peep the corners at 100%. I can't reach any conclusion from small sizes. Plus sky in a corner is no good as it gives no reference to sharpness.

Thanks but I really need full size shots with something of reference in all corners.

I think it's a great idea but only with at least an APSC sized sensor and ideally ff. I would want to properly look at the results first too. Until then it's only an idea.

So far it has received almost 4% of its fundraising target with not much longer to go. So it will go nowhere.

But I wish it well.

Just checked the date and it definitely isn't 1 April.

With one body I would probably set up a wide angle shot on a tripod with a remote controlled burst based on a signal from the owl handler and then with the other two bodies, one a closer shot on a prefocused spot, maybe as the owl is about to land on the perch and the other an attempt at tracking from a side-on view (probably taking up Mike's offer for the tracking).

The 800pixels wide limit just isn't kind to panaoramas. You could link to a larger image. Alternatively I think if you upload a larger version then the forum resizes it to 800px but you can still click through twice to a larger size. JR would be better placed to advise than I.
