I very much doubt anyone was lost 'at the show', The casualties were passing traffic on a very busy A road and unlikely to have had anything to do with the show that had started two and a half hours earlier.

Not far from that very road, there were tripods all over the place; seen minutes before the crash. As picked up by first responder radio; at least one person that was taking pictures (not in any vehicle) was either gravely injured or expired
