£1400 is a lot of money and I think it is valid to ask about permanent marks on the glass since cleaning marks can affect the value of a lens. So I'm sorry for 'hassling' you. I was seriously considering this.

Or for deep sky objects a long lens the O-GPS1 and some stacking should give some nice results.

I agree, I think the range now looks very good. Just about right for an APSC lineup.
