I like it, I like the background stars. I was all fired up with the telescope and only saw clouds, so it's just nice to see it.

Hi and welcome to the forum. What kind of advice are you looking for with these shots which I think were taken with an Olympus VG-120?

A highly enjoyable set. 6 and 14 are really good.

I think it would be more appropriate to showcase the DFA photos in a separate thread. This is about the Vivitar. The initial results look encouraging, the first photo in particular is very nice. I think some of the shots would benefit from a little noise reduction.

I broke the hood for my 55-300. I bought a JJC one from China, £9 delivered. It does not quite click into place as the original does but it fits fine. It is not the same quality as an original but it does the same job for a lot less.

Very good set. 2,3 and 5 are my picks. Personally I don't like the tilts - slightly tilted just looks wrong to me. More tilted (11) looks purposeful and works much better.
