When you descibe them as mimes did they move?
#1 & #3 look as if they are "human" statues, but #2 loos as if he's in the middle of something.
My preference is for the textural effects of #1

Thanks Bernard - 1 moved, but very slowly - that's what made it a bit creepy.
No 2 was a magic show.
No 3 did indeed move - he was a commuter on a train, and a very polished performance - he had it down pat.

Thanks to all. Paul these people got what they deserved from us on Sunday, and they seemed to be appreciative.
That's a good take on it Doc & Jon, worth trying.
Jon - Sorry today didn't fit - I'm not sure I got much back from the VicAlps, and probably would have been better off staying in town given the weather up there - sleet and snow... The young bloke was happy for the day though, and it's really good spending some time with him.

The original commuter shot was much better IMHO. The floating grab handle was cool and helped make the shot and give it some charisma.
