There was one in the same condition as yours went for £95 a couple of weeks ago, no case. The last two here were offered at £100 and €125, so I'm very confident of finding one in my target range. Good luck with your sale.

I'm particularly interested in how my K35mm f3.5 (my only lens in that focal length) looks against other Pentax prime lenses. So I should be grateful to anyone who adds their images taken with a Pentax prime lens in the 30-35mm range to this thread.

I'll start with a few recent shots and add more later if it gets going:

There are plenty of resources to look up photos taken with a particular lens and also series of lenses (all M lenses for example). I can not find much at all though on direct comparisons of different lenses where there is an ownership choice between them, similar focal lengths for example. I'm quite interested in seeing how old lenses compare with their modern counterparts and a collection of photos all under one thread would be interesting to browse and more convenient than flitting about between several windows and websites. So I'm going to start a couple of threads that interest me and hope that others will post their photos too.

I think parameters need to be pretty focused to work. There are plenty of potential topics, eg: DA70 vs FA77, 100mm Macro comparison, zoom vs primes in range. Might be interesting, might not, might get some participation, might not.

It's a lens I'm after but yours is too expensive for me. £100-£120 is a reasonable target price so I'll wait.

Funnily enough I am having a K series week at the mo and I was just thinking about this very issue. I had an idea for some threads which you will see soon.

Autofocus and metering I could easily do without. I do know I could quite happily live with just the K series apart from a 300.

I've followed Giulio's images in the PPG. Carry on the great work and thanks for all the comments!

Instead of buying a Ltd or DA* you could try a K55f1.8 for a mere £30-40. It might surprise you.

Take a look at RayB's smug lizard in the gallery. That's plenty fine detail, microcontrast, sharpness or whateveritis for my neurons. Then look at the camera. I'm always amazed at the detail my K35f3.5 can come up. I do wonder if there is a level where technology outresolves our capacity to take it in.

It tells you when your photo is crap, imprints a special watermark on it.
