We certainly feel blessed to live in this neck of the woods with its scope for walking, and photographing, in beautiful surroundings.

Ships seem to be "in" this evening, Nigel. The pp has certainly worked well.

The light filtering through the clouds in No 4 does it for me. Well captured.

I was there a couple of weeks ago, Nigel, but the mist didn't clear all day so I didn't even get my camera out of its bag.

This is my contribution to the seasonal photographs. All taken in the grounds of Kingston Mauward agricultural college near Dorchester, Dorset with a K-5ii and DA 18-55.

Hello all. I have recently returned to the Pentax fold by acquiring a K5-ii. In a previous existence, I had an ME Super and MG bodies and a selection of lenses but stopped using them some time ago. I'm enjoying finding my way around the K5 and some examples of my local environment are shown in the images below - the mill stream that flows around the North of Dorset's county town. The first 4 were shot as RAW files and have been lightly tweaked in Elements. The 5th was shot as a JPEG file using the K5's HDR mode. It is as it came out of the camera and I must say that I'm impressed with this facility.

I look forward to enjoying your photographs and hope to contribute more of mine.
