I know those fields, Steve. Used to be our local walk when we lived in Dorch.

You don't get light like that on good days!

Looks like you have done well, too, Phill.

First try-out of the Sigma 24mm f2.8 Super Wide lens bought last week from Reso. It is certainly a very nice little lens to use and I'm well pleased with the initial results. Many thanks, Phill.

Lovely Nigel, those long exposures make it seem like the water is lit from underneath, which contrasts beautifully with the farther away artificial lighting (working especially well in their subtler presence in 2, 3 and 4 - for me).

Nice set, I like the PP for 2 and 7, the warm earthy tones look great. The landscape on 1 is superb but I feel the clouds let it down a bit - luck of the draw there.
I agree.

I like your tighter cropping on the left, in your first alternative above, rather more than the square crop. Not sure about cropping out the end of the stalk though - a bit like an unfinished story.

Capture light and dark you certainly have. I particularly like 3, 4 and 9. I have tried similar shots to these myself but never with the stunning results that you have achieved.
