Did you know that Brittian has more video cameras surveilling the public, than any other country?
Stores can set up cameras in the stores to deter thefts and provide "security" for the public. They always have them inside, to prevent loss, but rarely have them in the parkinglots to protect your, car or your safety AFTER the shopping.
The police have cameras on you, but after Instances like Rodney King, they don't want you putting cameras on them.
The same laws that allow them to capture your image under "reasonable rights to privacy in public places" is being taken from us under the guise of protecting us.
Transparency and liberty, and less controls would be needed to ensure our protection.
the right to bear cameras, is more important now than ever.
if a terrorist is snaping pics of a bridge, then ten tourists, capturing the terrorist on video or stills, or film, will aide us, more than hurt us.

Interiors usually require wide angle lenses, therfore f8 to f16 may be more than enough if u use hyperfocal distance...ie focus 1/3 the way into your frame and bracket youur apertures in aperture priority....(most lenses these daze don't have hyperfocal distances marked on'em anymore.....
that may solve your problem....or not.

reminds me of a cat we used to have named Diva.
I adopted her from the pound (her incredible green eyes and jet black fur hooked me.)
My best friend showed up at my house in his custom toyota 4x4 (his pride and joy. He took one look, then a second and proclaimed "It's that damn cat!"
turns out my new cat used to be his neighbours old cat.
his neighbours old cat used to climb all over his custom paint on the warm hood of his toyota....finally got caught by animal crontrol....
"That F@@#$$%N cat's possesed. get it off my truck please..."

Personally, I'd rather have some security gauard, law enforcement or private citizen, photo/video my "Suspicious Activity" and post it to a flicker/youtube site that homeland security monitors (with face recognition software) for terrorists/illegal activity, than have them hassle me while I'm out there taking pictures. The government should trust that it is Me who might stop the next terrorist attack with MY camera. Our Governments should encourage more people to carry, and use cameras. We as citizens should be policing our police, and taking responsibility to protect our society. No camera should be taken, searched or tampered with without a search warrant.
