I use .mac works great, but uploads are slow.

in fact with the .mac account, I can publish slides of my favorite images, and have my desktop macs set up to use my .mac slides as a screen saver. Then while I'm on the road, anybody at home will see my latest images pop up on my computer screensavers!

I can also use my iphoto to publish a folder as a photocast, and as I update the folder, whom ever is a subscriber to the photocast (any pc not just macs) gets a copy of the newest/ most recent copys of my files!

if you own an ipod get an adaptor to back your images to it...if you always wanted an ipod now you have an excuse.

more oft than not I wind up recommending either buying more memory cards or gettin a laptop...in between has too many compromises for the cost involved.

I had a wind up car that didn't work when I was a kid.....no point in winding it up if it doesn't do anything....goes both ways.

Petekd, people told you (and others) that saving a couple bucks on an off brand flash, doesn't make good business sense. Learn the lesson. (the 622 super and 120JTTL & 120J Parabolic Reflector Flash with quantim battery pack, are sunpaks PRO units, and in manual or auto modes work flawlessly.)

Noise is sometimes a bother, as is the flash burst. option # 1, use a non slr camera at that point in the wedding or fire less shots. I'd rather fire ten perfectly exposed, perfectly timed, well composed shots, than fire off a hundred and hope i got something good.

experience and timing.

ps. I suppose you could lessen the sound of mirror slap (that's what makes the noise. not really the shutter at all) by using a smaller mirror, pentaprism and the mechanics to swing the mrror. Then you'd be stuck with a nikon/canon viewfinder as well.

Now there is a post that seems to want the risk of starting a flame throwing match......( I know some will be tempted to substitute "you're" for "It's".... but here goes...).

IT'S JUST A TOOL! (use what works for you.)

I hope others will refrain from wasting time arguing about this post.

how about one set up for one type of shooting and another set up for a different type of shooting...
ie during a wedding I might have one set up for inside the church, and the other set up for outside....

ah..i get it.
I'd use the batteries from both, and alternate after each use, leave one camera in the bag put all the wear and tear on one, while preserving the back up.....a worn out camera is always a great reason to upgrade, to a newer better model, so I'd try to waer one out.
