I'm tired of this debate. True you can't please everybody, but I say we all ask Celine Dionne to critique it. I'd love to hear what her lawyers think of the music. Sounds like about $12 million dollar lawsuit to me....

Well, as I said, nice work.
I asked and did not yet receive an answer about the music.
It was perhaps the most important (albeit subtle) point made in this thread.

This point is a warning to all photographers and web designers, not specifically limited to Petekd.

If you do not own the rights or have permission from the copyright holder you may find yourself in court and or blackballed in some professional circles.
How would you react to some musician, downloading/copying YOUR photography, and using it for commercial purposes WITHOUT PAYING YOU or getting your PERMISSION?

Well thank you for that.
needed to exercise my noodle.
It was nice to get my brain fixated on something other than plotting asassaniation attempts on the "leave Brittany Alone" youtube freak.

I'm not certian on either...the pentax curved look is definately the shutter travelling vertically/
we know the shutter speed, but I don't know what the heck the other word means. other variables would be prop speed, angle of light, intensity of light, direction of rotation......is the sony a point and shoot? that would explain it too.....

colonialgirl....
adding grain in pse is easy.
in the pulldown menu, goto Filter>Noise>add noise...
from there I'd suggest mono and play with the settings.
if you work on a duplicate layer, you can also play around with your opacity and blend modes to get more effects (screen and multiply are fun).

I certianly have a predisposition towards disliking American trade policies and foriegn policies. Having said that, I still support the wars.

Does or should my opinions really matter here? I don't think they'll hurt anybody.

Now the imagery on that truck certianly is glorifying the air ambulances and medics...not the killing of enemy combatants.

So in my view, whether you're for or against the war, you must see the heroics of those out there on the battlefeilds trying to save lives...a beautiful tribute.

Not a bad photo either... I would like to see the whole truck though....
