very cool. you nailed it....
I'm gonna have to put that on my "must see" list next time I'm travelling that way on my motorcycle.
I was certain there was some artificial light in use. I was thinking it must've taken hours to set up. I was also wondering if you did some creative color balance shots and combined several takes in photoshop.

amoringello,
LOVE that shot.
could you tell me more about where, when and how?
I'm dying to know if that was natural light or some flash/painting effects added during the exposure.....

congrats to the winners!
and yep..there was supposed to be a lop-eared bunny on the bench...but the rabbits owner cancelled at the last moment, so that was in fact a test shot.

Pentax k10, 50mm 1.4, f13, 1s, iso 100.

two flashes (works out to three if you have the k10 with built in flash) gives way more options.
add a compact lightstand or two, and an umbrella, and a mini ball head, and check out this:

Admired and respected actually.

I also have learning disabilities.
dylexia, and discalculia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyscalculia), and memory problems, and aspbergers.

I also have a son with adhd, and another with autism.

I had grade 8 (didn't start reading till very late, then rocketed to reading at a university undergraduate level in one year, too late to learn to function in school...).

I spent a year and a half posting here every day straight, to practice my typing skills, before going to college.

Now it's a habit.....javascript:emoticon('')

valid point.
now if apple figures out a way to install osx on an ipod,( with all your user prefs, acess to your dot.mac account, and home computer), that you can plug into ANY pc and boot off it, to give you a reasonable facsimilie of your mac....

kiss everyone else goodbye....

Some one wisely mentioned, upping the ram.

in my early model macbook, I upgraded my ram to 2 gig (not apple brand) and swapped the hard drive (not easy to do on the macbook pro) and my macbook runs circles around my college professor friends macbook pro.

(for final cut, and photoshop)

now at the coffee shop I frequent in winnipeg there's a few aquantences with dell and hp laptops, whose jaws drop to the floor when they check out my laptop. It's fast enough....I'd say.
