How long would it take to look through the viewfinder, decide then what to keep and what to remove?
How long would it take to set up a backdrop?

I only ask because that is what you need to ask whenever the opportunity presents....

Cloning not too bad, most people wouldn't look close enough to notice, the little fella's expression is very engaging, though I do like the little train car in the frame.

over all a nice shot.

get 'em all broken. By broken I mean fixed. if all thier parts work when you take 'm to the vet, and all thier parts aren't working when you get them back, you cant call that "Fixed"

seriously, keep em if you can, no kill shelter if you can't. that's the best you can do....

ps when it come to birds, cats or any other wildlife.... don't feed them "on and off".
if they rely on you for a food source, be a reliable food source, or they may die of starvation waiting around your house, when they might've faired better by moving on.

I used to have one.
they require calibrating from time to time.
they are great for incident light readings.
they are great for low light levels, beyond what many camera meters function.
pre-digital (hyper-manual) they were great for finding different aperture/shutter combinations for any given exposure value.

nowadays, it would be useful for available light shooters, but when buying, you'd wanna go with a meter that also reads flash.

well Gerri needs to get credit for the capture.... I did some post on it, and yes the damaged print border was intentional, even if it doesn't appeal to everybody, Gerri likes it, we use bordered effects a fair bit really.

the light shafts are exaggerated, and done in photoshop...

the theme is one of walking out of a dark wood and into the light.

that is me an my boy

The conclusion isn't really what I wanted to see. I know the K-7 has a lot more going for it but to see a model costing half the amount getting a sensor with far superior noise control doesn't make me want to run out and buy the more expensive model. At the same time the K-x lacks a lot of the things I want from the K-7 (Second wheel, top lcd, weather sealing, viewfinder .. to name but a few).
I feel like a dog that's cornered two mailmen.... I just don't know which one to go for....

I think you might get lucky if you google "T" mount adaptors for both the scope and the kmaount.

of course there are better photos to be had from the 200 or 300 mm Pentax telephotos..
