I tend to think of program mode as the one where the camera will do it for me. I do know that the program mode is adaptable but it wasn't on my Super A, so I tend not to use it. Perhaps I should educate myself by using it more often and explore my cameras capabilities more but so long as I get the shot I'm after, is it a problem?
Thing is though, you get used to working in a certain way and you carry on, even when, possibly, better options come along. I hate it when Microsoft re-gig the way windows is operated, with every new version and always seek out the 'classic' mode!

Very useful for macro fine focus and composition. A good find.

Unlike your bathroom mirror, where the silvering is on the back - with a glass surface facing you, the reflecting surface on an SLR camera is on the front and is incredibly easy to damage. A cotton bud will scratch the surface so will a lens tissue!
A gentle waft of clean, dry air is all that can be used to move dust. This is best done with the mount facing down so the dust has a better chance of falling out of the camera. Never be tempted to blow on it, far too much moisture in breath. Rocket blowers tend to blow dust around in the camera. The dust then finds something else to land on, like the sensor, the viewfinder screen or even up onto the prism.
Best defense to dust inside the camera is to keep it closed! Change lenses quickly and always with the mount facing downward, less chance of gravity helping dust to enter the camera. Avoid changing lenses in a dusty atmosphere and keep caps on as much as possible.

Do these events happen in public places or private places.
In the end, all this has no value in law. They cannot claim copyright just by writing their policy, unless you give them the copyright. If you are the owner of the photos then you decide where and when they are used.
Do they want free photos or not? They seem to be going the right way to upset you.

Both taken with my 18-135 and I have a nice 21'x12' print of the second one.
The 18-135 is now my main 'mountain' lens as it replaced the two lenses that I used to carry. It gives me the range I want without having to miss shots changing lenses. I don't always have the luxury of time to fiddle, when trekking through the mountains in winter.

It was a music and light event with a difference, There were different musical and visual performances/installations linked by fire along the river, through the town.

Jali Fili Cissoko plays his Kora.

The town Water bridge.

Tim Hill plays Saxophone.

Clive Bell plays Shakuhachi.

Fire and water sculptures in the park.

I can't find Pentaxia on my map but Google seems to suggest Derby. Is that right?
