Focus Trap is a useful tool for some sports events, leave the camera body on AF and with a manual lens pre focus on a point and hold the shutter release down. When the subject comes into focus the shutter fires. That is the theory, but with my Ist D the light and subject contrast has to be good......John

Ken,
I read somewhere that there could be a problem of the rear element of the lens coming in contact with the front element of the converter if the rear element of the lens projects beyond the mounting flange.I am not trying to put a damper on your new purchase but I checked mine as soon as I read about the problem.I have used mine with the 50mm f1.7 F & FA and Tamron 90mm & 135 mm f2.5s......John

They are certainly from the same viewpoint under the same lighting conditions with the same focal length, the second one is a fraction wider on the left edge. How would they have gotten access to yours?
From here.

No exif data with screen captures.I did resize one to make it as close to the other without cropping.
I was thinking of a donation to the Cathedral and a credit.

Hi All,
I am just testing the water to see if you are in agreement with me. Here are two pictures of the Dun Cow on the north side of Durham Cathedral. One is mine which I took from scaffolding some thirty feet up with permission and access granted by the Cathedral clerk of works. It has been posted on a online gallery for a few years. The other I have recently found on a local web site. I am 100% sure I is my picture they are using, what do you think?

As I said the offer has ended. It was there for two or three days, may have been a misprice or the codes may have been removed as no cash back was mentioned....John

my K110d and a R72 filter should allow me to play in the IR
Correct.

Your K200D might produce similar results but would require much longer exposure times.

By replacing the sensor's filter with plain glass, handheld IR is possible as the exposure times are dramatically shortened.
If you wind the Iso setting up to 1600 or 3200 you can hand hold but you cannot see what you are taking as the filter is opaque. This is how I took my first shots, some turned out ok.Using a tripod you have to compose without the filter then take the shot, or use the display to check the composition.
