This little Dove just fledged this morning, and happily posed for me, only 1 of them is cropped, the rest are framed as shot. It was resting, down beside the oil burner,

Glad you got it sorted and that it wasn't an actual fault. 👍👍👍

Mmm not had that happen before, what mode are you using, if shooting in manual does it happen ?
Could try a factory reset in case it's something deep in the menu that's been mucked about, although you'd lose any lens adjustments you may have made

Excellent set,
The lines in that first one are brilliant, cracking shot. 10 also.
They're all excellent with well thought out compositions and view points.
Looks like a cracking spot to visit.

Too many to really pick out faves but 1,3,4,10,11 and 12 pop for me.
Always love going through your posts.

👏👏👏

I wanted to show the contrast between what I got and what you got although I have to admit, I never thought of putting a macro lens on the bellows. I shall give it a go.

It was Derek that inspired me to start using Macro on Bellows - and although I've had some success it's not up to the levels of Derek MOTM (Master of the Macro) - But definitely give it a go David, the Tamron is a superb lens and I'm sure it'll deliver
Cheers guys, its funny because I kind of remember it as being both of ye that got me interested in the idea of using the bellows in the first place

John, not at all sure about the MOTM bit, but thanks

This is Moira, my newly trained pet ladybird, she can now strike this pose. Her come hither look, on demand

Solely to put the quality of Derek's new macro lens into perspective, here's one I took yesterday with a lens that most of the rest of us get by with (a Tamron 272E 90mm). It's simply no contest! ..... Can I borrow it Derek?

Apologies for the late replies, been out at 2 gorse fires and a forest fire since 12.50 lunchtime, till 03.10 and it's only February , both shattered and wound up. Weird.

Cheers David, that tamron 90 mm is a very well regarded lens, just never had the pleasure of trying one.
I see your ladybird also like the rosemary, mine do too.
Nowt wrong with your shot either man. Looks like yours is straight macro lens, mine is on my bellows, must be time for you to break out yours too

More than welcome to post images in here, won't bother me
