I think these are better, all taken with K5iis and either Da 60-250mm or an F 28mm

Sorry all were shot handheld.

Here are 3 after focus tuning and one without. Recropped and exposure adjusted, no sharpening. The last one was pre tuning
The difference is staggering.

Hi folks. Some help needed again here, these shots are not great, I know that. But I'm not sure why. The panning shots were limited by there only being two angles to choose from. I found focusing an issue my panning technique or lack of. I tried manual focusing, afs and afc.
Most of these we're takin at about f8 with shutter speed around 1/160th to try keep movement in the wheels. Apart from the lens needing a plus 5 adjustment as I discovered this morning. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong ? ( other than everything )

After getting a k5iis and a da*60-250 i went off yesterday to try them out. now my panning techniques are not the best but even on static shots i was unimpressed with the sharpness or lack of it. so this morning decided to fine tune my lenses using this

Result was Da* 60-250 needed +5. samsung dxenon 100mm Macro was fine. Da* 55mm f1.4 needed +10. and Pentax F 28mm f2.8 needed +7.

I feel surprised that out of 4 lenses the only one that was spot on was not a Pentax, ( even if it is just a re badged Dfa 100mm) Is this unusual ???

These are a few from today with my new (to me) K5iis and da*60-250. At a track day which was also new to me. As i said this was my first attempt at this kind of thing. ( a lot to learn )
A day of firsts all round.
I saw 3 nikon and two canon togs there.

Arrived this morning in mint condition,
super safely packaged.
Very easy guy to deal with.
