Inside painted white, outside black.
I have repurposed it again as I have used it in the past as a beauty dish.
It had a biscuit tin lid around where the coffee tin is now and a small slot at the back for the flash head to sit into.
I've removed the lid and cut the center of the Base out so the ring flash sits more or less right.
The coffee tin sits into the center of the flash and just some transparent foamy type stuff to further diffuse.

I was aiming for subtle with the lighting anyway.
Ring flash with homemade diffuser,
A pity there's nothing subtle about the diffuser

Not surprising but I am a little disappointed.
Ah well it was fun while it lasted.

I looked at it on Facebook. Couldn't see anything offensive
I think it's the idea behind it,
It's a copy of something real that happened and I think that's what's seen to be offensive
Could be wrong of course.

The exposure time should be longer with tubes as you're getting less light to the sensor. With a different set of tubes you may find that the aperture reading is more accurate.
Shooting in manual.
