It sure is.
Nice shooting.

Thanks Peter

Hi Stuart. The ring Flash was too harsh for extreme closeups. Leaving lots of shiny spots.
I made up a homemade diffuser to soften it using a plastic mixing bowl, half an empty coffee tin and some underlay for laminate flooring

Sorry Peter

Cheers k10D

As per the title, a few spiders in the garden today at lunchtime, theirs not mine.

Usual macro setup, k3ii + tubes + 105mm macro + modified ringflash all handheld as ever.

Nicely done, any vibrant green foliage will pop white with IR, with metal, stone or water turning black.
Lots of opportunities for hi contrast images.
Good shooting.

I went for a hawk walk at the national bird of prey centre, which has recently relocated to a country house a few miles away from me. I think I may well be returning on a better day than today.
Took some shots in the courtyard and some while out for the walk. It was great fun calling the Harris hawk to land on my gloved hand, so I probably didnt get as many shots as I could have.
Lots to learn too.
I only used 2 lenses, my Fa*300mm and my Da*50-135mm

some shots, and any and all cc is welcome, Ive not shot anything like this before so any hints, tips or advice is greatly welcomed.

Ahhh proper motorsport shots, as they are supposed to be. Absolutely savage set, fab shots, great angles, lots of variations and interest. Just wonderful.
Not jealous much just with envy

Thanks again folks. Your comments are appreciated
