As per the title, a few spiders in the garden today at lunchtime, theirs not mine.

Usual macro setup, k3ii + tubes + 105mm macro + modified ringflash all handheld as ever.

Hi Stuart. The ring Flash was too harsh for extreme closeups. Leaving lots of shiny spots.
I made up a homemade diffuser to soften it using a plastic mixing bowl, half an empty coffee tin and some underlay for laminate flooring
I know what i like, If not always why.

Derek is one of the best I've seen on these forums so it's perfectly acceptable that he comes up with better stuff than us

Excellent shots Derek, spiders are not easy as they require a lot of DOF.
