Or perhaps with the shot containing much more sky and just the tops of the nearer trees at the bottom. Then the centrally placed spire would work quite well?

What a beautiful place to live.
The sheep do help but I think the solitary tree is even more valuable. It stops the eye from sliding off the picture and redirects to those wonderful patterns.

And you produced a very attractive image with it.
Try it with some extension tubes too. Although you might have to go fully manual 'cos not many of them will talk to the camera :( (even those with a row of contacts).
