Absolutely superb Maria. It has a magical, dreamlike quality, as do many of your images. Also, to me it looks almost 'Medieval', for some reason in my mind it conjures images of Monks writing illustrated texts!

Love what you've picked out here, and asked us to focus on... Face, hands, brush, picture... ie the important bits... Just the collar to denote clothing, slight hint of background for context... Really great shot...
