Yes Gareth, found my friends OK thanks. Sorry I suddenly lost you, Alan (Impotentspider), Barrie Forbes and Graham (Technoblurb) when I got carried away photographing some more Goths and their cars. It was great to meet you all for the first time although I had already met Alan when we went to Sherwood Forest.
Just got in after 11pm after being out at friends tonight so no time to dowload my pictures yet. Please bear with me, I'll have to post mine in the gallery as I haven't yet got round to putting them in the Forum.

Nice shots by the way fellas.

The Goth websites are buzzing with excitement about going to Whitby at the weekend to see all the photographers.

Is it only one image per person?
Yup, and taken on Pentax or a Samsung DSLR, so you are OK with Samsung GX10 or GX20. And if you win you have to pick the subject and judge and comment on next week's competition.

What can I add to all the well deserved praise heaped upon you Martin? I've never set foot on Danish soil but I really envy your trip and enjoy your pictures.

Superb set. You have a great eye for detail Ralf and these pictures demonstrate it expertly.

Unless I can shake them off when you see me I'll probably be with some disreputable looking characters wielding Nikons and Canons. They are members of Durham Photographic Society who also plan to go to Whitby on Saturday. Despite the gear they pack there are some cool photographers among them.

Don't forget to put the time on your cameras back an hour Saturday night/Sunday morning if you live in the UK when we move out of British summer time into winter time.

I've already suggested the bottom of the steps, everyone knows where that is. Greynolds suggested 'North Cliff' but I don't know where that is unless he means West Cliff. Thats the area above where the whale's jaw bones are on the opposite side of the river to the abbey. 10.30 is fine by me.

This confirms my dislike of kitsch HDR.
