[quote:3496ace15f="Gwyn"]Sadly Timbo no longer has his stunning nudes there, which is a real loss. I can recommend his website though.quote]

Has Tim stopped posting pics? He still has them showing in his portfolio page?

Thanks for this post George, I agree with much of what you have said and I think the Gallery is often better than PPG.

It does seem that only a small proportion of the users on this site do actually post to the Gallery, which is a shame. I probably post far too many (which is also a shame) but it would be nice to see posts from more PU members.

No, don't crop it. It is superb as is. I've just seen this on the gallery and put a comment on as I liked it so much.

I was just wondering if any / all of the K-5 owners out there have had problems with the writing rubbing off the buttons? I've only had my K-5 about 6 weeks and already most of the writing has disappeared on the 'ISO' button, but not off any of the others.

I haven't had any similar issues on my K-m or K-x.

I agree with the post above, the screensavers just degrade the quality and I'm not sure how much good they do. I've never scratched the screen on any of my three DSLR's (K-m, K-x, K-5).

They are all great, but that second one is a classic! Usually it's the red squirrels that get people excited, but I think these would be hard to beat.

I'm not making any more comments on this one; I don't want to get involved in situations with wives on the floor or anything like that!

BTW, I told my missus I was going to get a little one and she said I already had one

As you know Shaun I never used to take a tripod with me, but since getting used to using one, I wouldn't want to go without it now! A small light one would be better than none at all, I am just thinking about flexibility to be able to take shots that you want to take and there won't always be a convenient wall or seat etc. that you could rest the camera on and still get the right angle of shot you want.

Hope this makes sense

Cheers

Could you not stretch to the tripod Shaun? What if you wanted to take some low light or night shots? I would also be tempted to take your 55-300 as well.

He seems to talk sense Shaun, first time I've seen him.
