One of you Shaun, with a very red face and very white eyes, like that one I took when we were on holiday that I am holding back until the right opportunity arises to post it on this website!

Davidstorm - which particular Aperture triggers are you using? I'd like to make sure they are Pentax compatible. The same goes for the Yongnuo brand - the ads on Amazon never mention Pentax just Canonikon. Thanks for any help you can give - it could save me ££
Here is a link for you to Amazon:

Hi Matt, I agree with Stuart above. Either the Neewer or Yongnuo's will do the job just fine and both are good quality units that are better made than my Metz one is and work much better too.

I would recommend either, but the Neewer ones are a bit cheaper as they don't have an LCD display (it's not required really) and they are a lower Guide Number, although still pretty powerful. I have two of these and they perform brilliantly, I don't think you would get anything better for the money. You can buy them on Amazon.

I wasn't suggesting you had Shaun, just making the point that not everyone's grammar is perfect and a surprisingly large number of people do have dyslexia, including two people I work closely with.

Comments like the one above make my blood boil.

Always brilliant photos, but your grammar is awful...their...there.
Why don't you just accept that some people can have genuine difficulty with spelling? Haven't you come across dyslexia?

Sorry to have to say this, but it's not big or clever to put anyone down this way, in fact it's downright rude. You would be best keeping comments like this to yourself as it does you no favours.

Shaun's grammar may not be 100% but his images knock spots off most peoples, mine and yours included.

There are some stunners on there. Some of them are very heavily processed, some are not. I think the reaction to these images highlights how we all appreciate things differently and there is nothing wrong with that; it's what makes life interesting.

They are certainly something to aspire to.

Depends how you want to use it Matt. Wireless capability is not important as you can buy very good wireless triggers for not much money and you can use these with any flashguns.

My preference is for cheap, powerful manual flashguns, they are very versatile, very controllable and easy to use. I have two Neewer TT560's that cost £25 each - superb kit for the price and much better than my Metz TTL unit. Yongnuo's cost a bit more but are similar and have good reviews from people that use them.

I use mine with Aputure triggers that work reliably up to 120 metres away!

Beautiful shots Shaun. My favourite is the first one.
