Thanks John

If I remember correctly one of the LCE braches used to offer a discount to PU members. Does any one know which it was and if the offer is still valid?

Dave

No not one!

Still I have found a copy at park cameras for £170 which is much less than most other places..Still a lot more expensive than student/teacher price. I am not sure why I should be penalised but I am..

On other forums I belong to general chat is general chat not connected directly with the forum main business.

There are a number of different weekends in Hawort - the 1940's and the 1960's are the best.

However, as with all these great events, they become too successful. What started in haworth as gentle 1940's weekend ended up with tanks and jeeps flying down the cobbled main street almost causing serious injury. The Council has now insisted that a safety consultant is employed at a commercial level. The traders are not happy paying with this more formal approach.

The locals are not always happy as too many people descend upon a small peaceful village.

a DA*60-250 I could afford

A fast, light weight alternative to the bigma that I could afford....

The only reason I go to Whitby is because everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. There is a great lot of chatting and laughter between all sorts of people.

I come away thinking that perhaps we are not such a divided society. Am I wrong?

Dave

thanks for that peter - so helpful

Unfortunately we have no students in the family.

I was wondering if there was a good supplier at a lower cost.

Can anybody suggest a good place in the UK to get Lightroom 3 at a reasonable price?
