Missed these before. #1 and 2 for me.
Well done for getting so many on what sounds to have been a miserable day.

I like them, but you should clone out the bra strap on the third one. It would really improve it.

very vice shots Ken, despite the terrible weather.
I got very little on the day, in fact I can forsee saturdays efforts ending up in the recycle bin
On a brighter note I met up with Barrie (bforbes) today (Sunday) and we also came across, Carl (fritzthedog) also another foum member Peter
(checknumber96) We had much better luck with the weather.
Yesterday Graham (techboblurb) lamented that he had not seen his favorite goth "Jessica", so this is a quick fix on the laptop and I'll post more when I get home. So just for Graham heres Jessica:

Ken that limited lens has really paid off, it is so sharp, your images far outstrip anything I took, if I had to pick a favourite it would be #2
Alan, I would never have recognised her it's such a departure from her past outfit. Is that blue sky I see behind her?

oh yes... on Saturday morning the campervan had to be towed out of the the field by a tractor as it was so muddy. We spent saturday night on the farm track as that was more solid. till the pub was only 3 mins walk away.

Wife and I were shopping in Whitby the week before, at the end of a fortnight's holiday nearby. Whitby was pretty full of goths on that day (Saturday 29 Oct) and the weather was quite good. It was a different group: "Dark Daisy", I think. Lots of elderly ones such as these two.

BTW: What is the correct protcol for publishing photos of people on this (or similar) forums? Does one need to ask their permission? This gent seemed quite happy to be photographed when I spoke to him a few moments later. But I have lots of other photos of goths taken on that day, without their permission and without their knowledge in many cases. Is it unethical/unwise to publish their pictures on a forum? I am a total beginner in this respect.
Thanks,
Martin

This is just my two pennies, but when people dress and/or act outrageously and call the attention to themselves in a public place, then I act like they want the attention, so I don't give a rat's a$$ about a "publication form". They become part of the news, and news are fair game for any photographer. If they're bystanders watching the event, same goes. If they're just going by, then I ask permission before publishing. If those people going by are in the background of another shot, and are just incidental, I'm not going to bother with a permission to publish. They can see by themselves what's going on, so they can walk away if they don't want to be part of it.

Err..... excuse me Mr Forbes but I believe that shot in the pub is one of mine, taken whilst playing with your camera with the Sigma fishy thing on
I take great offence at you blatently flouting my copyright of this extrememly well composed shot, I could have sold that to the Whitby Gazette for a small fortune, but now its worthless as you've ruined its "SCOOP" value.
I have sought legal advice and my solicitor has advised me to sue you for the price of a pint
