I broke my toe but only had it confirmed a year later when I checked out the odd shape of the toe. The doc said that the abnormal shape was known as a bunion and that there was nothing he could do now as it was too late.Put it this way .. it's lucky the dog ran when it did.

Get it checked out Mike , I sometimes have problems buying footwear that does not rub on the bunion.
By the way you have my sympathy it hurts!!!

As the title says I am looking for a Pentax cable switch F. Has any one got one lying in the back of a drawer or kit bag?

My list:
1. Pentax GPS device because I always forget to record where I was and my wife never remembers.
2. A carbon fibre monopod for those tmes when you need a little support. 'I thought that you had all the gear now...that cupboard is full and I need the space to store things...'
3. A little more memory so that I can remember, understand and use all the clever things that modern cameras and post processing can do

Two photographers have been fined for disturbing sea eagles.
see link
Hopefully this will make some people think twice and listen to the advice of the RSPB etc.

It's that time of year when we need to compile the list of gifts we would like the old man with the white beard to leave at the foot of our beds on the 24th.
So tell me what's on your list of the following...
1. that special litle gadget that you want but will never use
2. that item that the family can afford but will not get you because they don't want to encourage you too much
3. the item that is just an absolute dream
