K-3 II seems to have 4 key points of interest:
A stop of extra SR - good news if that applies to 300mm lenses and up. Also lessens the need for flash indoors.
Pixel shift - for previously unheard of sharpness in static landscapes, architecture, macro etc.
GPS - astrotracer! No need for the GPS module, saving on cost (even after buying an external flash). Geo tagging doesn't interest me though.
Weight/size - No weight or bulk increase, excellent!
All of the above distinguish K3 II from the big boys and that's what Ricoh-Pentax need if they are to recover the lost ground from years of neglect. The flash issue is easily solved; small external flash in the pocket, or different model in the range. Well done Ricoh-Pentax, I like it!

To be brutally honest, within reason I couldn't care less what they look like ... white/black/grey/red ring/green ring/gold ring ... none of that makes any difference at all to me.
All I am interested in is IQ @ 450mm f5.6.

It does seem to be a biased poll though, as 'seldom' implies 'hardly ever' but that isn't true in my case. 'Sometimes' would have been a more even handed option, I think. I very nearly used the video tonight to capture the International Space Station pass but being short of time, and not having my 2nd Pentax and tripod with me, I elected to try some 15 second photos instead.

His dad, Mark Jones, was contacted by Ricoh Imaging UK (Pentax) after they saw his stunning images from across the UK.
The company, which produces Pentax cameras, asked Oliver to become their ambassador - their youngest ever.
He has been taking photos in Lapland and Iceland and has been sent new equipment - including Pentax’s flagship camera, the Ricoh K50 - to help with his photography.
Professional photographer Mr Jones, 43, from Gosport, said: ‘I was gobsmacked when they asked Oliver to be their ambassador.
