When inrealised he wasnt going to move I grabbed a tripod and rail to stack 6 shots.
I wanted maximum resolution and nice bokeh, so I didn't want to go over f/5.6

I've used in on all sorts; SMC m 200 f4, 100 macro, 300*.
It works the same on all of them - get it close by hand and leave the convertor to do the rest. The focusing ability is indistinguishable from the lens on its own. There will be an inevitable fall-off of light and sharpness, but this is a Pentax convertor so I imagine it's about as good as they get in this respect.

Alan, don't give up; that great opportunity you're after is just round the corner, or in my case, one step outside the door. That's why I love macro; the tiniest trips are an adventure down there

1.7 AF convertor is still available, although I should probably keep that for the same reason...

Apparently the SRS part of the warranty isn't transferable.

I think the possible offence was the cartoon using Jesus as an expletive.
I missed that and would have avoided it if I'd noticed. Incidentally the cartoon showed a real insight into composition and I was intending to talk about that.
The typography on the various banners started life when Facebook didn't allow promotional wording on there, so it was as loud as I thought I could get away with
Cheers

And it's a really sweet portrait lens.
Your editing workflow will have to take into account the slight lack of contrast and colour when compared to modern lenses, but it's all there and the resolution appears to be right up there with the best (based on its performance on extension tubes)
