That's just great, a wonderful macro - one of the best I've seen for a long time. Did you use Helicon or similar ?

I weas within an inch of buying that lens. I'm very glad I didn't as that beautiful image would not have existed. What Gary said.

Gary, it was ZereneStacker; not had much success in the past, as it usually makes a bit of a mess (probably me).
After stacking, I masked-in one of the original images for the background, not really necessary, but fractionally nicer.

This has just raised the bar for me, as far as macro shots are concerned!

Misty, still grey morning. 3 feet from the front door.
The JPEG quality is immediately impressive, but I kept it at F5.6 and stacked 6 (unprocessed) images.
