I can also recommend the Samsung NC10. Battery life usually in excess of 6 hours, often 8, and keyboard and screen also good.

Just saved the photo to my computer and opened it with the Pentax Photo Browser, and the white balance is Tungsten! (I wouldn't have thought it would make it that blue, obviously I was wrong.)

So for some reason your camera was set to the incorrect white balance.

Whether that's user error, or a fault with the camera somehow, we'll have to try to deduce!
