I wonder if the 300mm f/4 will have a tested aperture of nearer f/4.5...

I like it as an abstract, and I would think it would sit very nicely in a series of photos depicting dunes too.

...and I like the way the blue jacket is mirrored in the colour of the hut, and the red jacket has the tops of the posts to compliment it.

Second one doesn't look too dull.

Having just spent a weekend near Cley and Wells, I can confirm that Norfolk is a great place for a winter weekend break.

Just having a look through the forum on the Opanda site, because I'm not sure if Raw files are supported or not, and saw the following entry:

I Have a Canon 350D

does Opand Power Exif edit EXIF Data of RAW files?

I want to change the camera model on the file.

Dan

By the way, the reply was "PowerExif Editor support jpeg and tiff (only for Pro version)."

A quick Google shows that Opanda do a product that purports to do it: http://www.opanda.com/
I think that's just for jpegs and Tiffs, so if you're wanting the Raw file EXIF data changed I don't think that will do it. I think there was a discussion about this before, and I don't think there was a solution for Raws.

When you use the convertor, the K10D will (should) ask for the focal length for the SR (although that might only be if you've got SR switched on). That focal length will appear in the EXIF.

Why would you want to have your full address posted on it. :
I run a business - would you want to buy goods or services from someone without an address? Well, I guess many of us do when we use ebay, but other than that, I just wouldn't deal with a website that didn't have anything but an email contact.

Looks great to me too, and as described. Except, the links don't work

None of the links, other than the sitemap one, will work though, so don't worry about those.
It's because this is in a folder, and the links are relative, so the pages it's linking to aren't where it thinks they are. That will obviously be rectified when I go live with it.

Thanks for your input, I will get some other pics sorted for the zoomify image and get it all uploaded fairly soon.

Dan

P.S. I'm guessing no-one noticed the subliminal messages, though I guess that would depend on how many times you reloaded the page (Hint: They're in the captions... )

Hi Everyone,

Hope you don't mind, but I'm back again with this one. Have been tinkering with it over the last couple of weeks and have got things ironed out as far as I can tell.

http://www.DanielBridge.co.uk/zoomify

So, if I had more than two 'zoomify' images on there at the moment it would choose between them all at random, but at the moment it's just the wasp or the hogweed, if you refresh/reload the page you should see a different main pic.

The bit at the side (quotes from previous workshop attendees) should be randomly selected too.

Hovering over the left hand small pics should bring up a descriptive box.

In short, it should look like this:

If you have scripts disabled (Chirpy ), you should see basically the same thing, but without the zoomify image, and without any of the random stuff, or the descriptive boxes. Like this:

There's also a Sitemap link bottom right. With scripts it will just show a different layer on the page, without scripts, it takes you to a different page.

This is fun, I like learning how to do stuff like this. Although I've torn a bit of hair out in the process.

If you've got a minute just to have a look and quick play, and tell me if anything doesn't work as described, I would be most grateful. None of the links, other than the sitemap one, will work though, so don't worry about those.

Thanks all,
Dan
