I've just downloaded the K20D manual, looked at the AF section, and, lo and behold, page 106, 'AF Adjustment'.

Good job ChrisA's not around.

Will 15mm be a fisheye as far as distortion on regular subjects (people, pets etc.)?
No, it's a rectilinear lens.

I'm hoping it'll be more like a 24mm on film would be.
A little wider, more like a 22.5mm.

Mac wrote:
Do you figure it'll cost much more than the 21mm?
I would guess so, I reckon about £400 in the shops (£450 RRP)?

If anything, my Cokin P ND grad has a greenish tinge to it. That is probably about 10 years old at least (bought S/H at a camera fair about 7 or 8 years ago I think).

It's probably safe to say there's some variation over the years.

A question. This is a damselfly.
Yes it is! But I'm not sure what type, it will be the female of one of the 'blue' species, but I'm not sure what one.

Damselflies are smaller, and aren't as powerful in flight. Dragonflies are much more impressive!

As mentioned above, there's also a DA 15 on the horizon but we don't know yet how fast that will be (although I'd bet on somewhere around f4).
Don't think you'd get very long odds on that bet though...

£50 cash back on new ones at the moment, so effectively £399. But I very nearly PM'ed Danny just then! Must resist the urge!

All of these will have a bearing.
But not, I would have thought, to the extent that some shots are 'on the nose', whereas in others the horse is halfway across the line, unless some of the races are for donkeys. For this to be the case some horses would have to be running about 40% faster than others.

Well, I've always assumed it's 'Original Poster', but I'm happy to be corrected.
