Yeh it was a brand new camera.
Focus on the 120-400mm is still slow as hell though.
I dont know anyone else who has one though to touch base with.

Did a couple of Non Static test shots also.
Again just did some basic PP..No Sharpening.

Got my K20D back this morning so stuck the 120-400mm on and did a few tests out in the garden.
Just looking for some thoughts on sharpness from those who use this range.
No PP at all. DNG to JPG.

Hi Bob
I have one of these that i use on an old Minolta Film Camera and its a very honest lens.
No Bells, whistles etc.
However it is dated now and the price is high so i would avoid it.
This one however if you can get it for the same price or cheaper is far better.

And here was me thinking you managed somehow to get one of my unedited pictures @ 400iso.

Its my ONE BIG HANG UP about women. Couldnt care less about anything else, ie, weight, height etc.. But the Facial Hair is a major NO NO.

And besides.. Waxing can be fun

Just looked at them also and they are all pretty well..ermm..Rubbish.

The third one in particular would have been deleted from my camera in the blink of an eye.

I downloaded the first one for PP purposes and it does sharpen up very well.. Maybe to well though as the model really should have used some Wax on the Upper Lip. (not a pretty sight, maybe she is growing it for winter.)

Its all pretty much the same as earlier spec guides.

1/180th sync - yet someone who worked with Pentax claimed it was going to be higher.

New processing engine.
4 stop SR.
3 inch LCD.

Doesnt seem to be anything we werent already expecting.
