Karl,

If you produce your speeding ticket from the Lake District at the time of the alleged offences in Ealing I'm sure this will be sufficient. Only joking!!

.

Thank Leytono, If that's the case then it must be me not knowing how forum messaging works.

All,
Is there a problem with sending messages through the mailbox at the moment? Or is it because I'm not used to how it works? All my outgoing mail is still in the Outbox and I cannot force it to send. Any advice welcome!

I would like to subsidise my hols with a bit of cash, so in order to tempt you to part with yours I'll save you another £15 and drop the price to £240.

K-m -----> Free P&P via Royal Mail Special Delivery, by the way!!

K-m only a few months old with less than 3000 shutter actuations. Immaculate condition with software, manuals, strap, computer lead and original box. £255 ono. Great for beginner and as back-up or travel camera.

Using the Meade telescope as the lens, prime focus, 2000mm, f19, approx 125sec. The foreground water covers a distance of about 50 yds or so. The swans are at the other end of the lake from the hide and total distance is about 175 yds. I can bore you with a few more if you want!!

Telstar,
The adaptors are a bayonet T mount with 42mm thread attached directly to the camera and then a telescope adaptor for a 1.25" eyepiece screws into the T mount and then the whole lot is connected to the eyepiece section of the telescope. This makes the telescope very unbalanced!

Shim,
I'll post some pictures of the telescope and the camera in combination so you can see how unwieldy it can be.

Thanks for your comments, I'll post one of swans which were about 175yds distant, tomorrow.

cheers.
