Wildlife, an old cross & a new, oak cross, made by me for the memorial for an old friend.

Wonderful images, beautiful colours, the "Seeing Eye" at its best, (digital) photography of the highest order!
(Just imagine how they would look if "appropriately displayed", a la Ansel Adams!!!)
Apologies for the subjectivity,
Coker.

As a woodworker & naturalist of *(^^$£"")years, I find your images full of timber's strengths & its weaknesses.
That you capture those qualities with such elegance is inspiring.
The monochrome suits the subject v. well, in my opinion.
In "Timber Crumble", who's that figure standing left of centre, bottom third, admiring the cliff/quarry face?
(a bit like those psychiatrists' tests... what do you see in this picture?
Thanks for letting us see.

A while ago now. Perhaps one to re-take with the K7 + 100 macro,
to compare & contrast...?
C&C welcome.

Congrats to I-Berg for a beautiful, serene image, a worthy winner indeed.
Thanks, too, for the comments on my image, which, if I'm honest, I wasn't very confident about. I was not sure if such an interpretation of the subject would be "acceptable" here but I should have been more trusting in the frindliness & open-mindedness of you all on this site.
Many thanks for the encouragement, as ever!
Roger.
