All that colour & movement- the plain, white, static railings seem almost bored with it all....
"Same old spinning, same old colour... seen it all before.....yesterday, actually!"
Nice piccy!

O.K., I did "cheat" with the gull shot, inasmuch as we were back in the car, coffee poured, window open, & it was just there, posing about 15 feet away!
All the best,
Roger.

"....taken using Pentax related equipment to show its capabilities here".......
Last evening, outside the front door, a bat was flying around, feasting on the moths attracted by the outside light.
I thought I would try & photograph it.
It being dark(!),
I decided to a). use the pop-up flash on the K7 & b).,
because I couldn't see anything through the viewfinder, I set the zoom on 18mm., manually focussed on between 2m & infinity & shot "from the hip" when I thought the bat would be in the frame.
in one shot, it was, albeit quite small!
Cropped & sharpened.....

It's no Stephen Dalton, I know, but given the lack of his kit, i.e. "only" the K7 & a bit of time messing about, I think it's remarkable what Pentax has revealed here.
C&C, & any hints to refine technique welcome!

We were virtually leaning against the wind & I really didn't fancy going down onto the (restricted/tide-in) beach for a better shot!
Mind you, what's the worst that could have happened......Swept out to sea?
(What a test for all those weather-seals!!!)
(& the K7's!)
Even the gulls were "hanging-on" to the car park(see 4).
