My average on my K20D is ~220 per week (over 60 weeks or so). Nearly all macro and birds with ~70% keepers.

One thing I don't understand about the D-LI90 is that they no longer come with a protective plastic end-cap. Neither the one that comes with the K-7 nor the spare batteries do.

Just wanted to say that I have dealt with Avides myself in the past and they've always been prompt an courteous. I've not purchased a lens from them, though. Their shipping is often quicker than from within the UK

I'm with you there I don't have a problem with George at all. I enjoy his self-proclaimed pedantry. He may be brusque, but he offers his opinion whether it's controversial or not.

I'm not surprised that some take offence at his words at times, but as John keeps pointing out, we all have to accept that people will have differing (and often uncomfortable) opinions and we should accept them for what they are and move on. That is something that I have had to learn over time, especially online, though I also find it difficult at times.

However, I've noticed over the years a steady but marked decline in the quality of online forums. People are too quick to be aggressive and abusive and the lack of respect for each other is sometimes astounding.
