Why Not Upload Your Avatar?

I notice there are quite a few of us who have not uploaded their Avatar yet. It's always good to have a face to go with a name and although the Avatar doesn't have to be a picture of you it is always nice when it is.

Go to "My Settings" top right of the page, then My Profile Settings and you can scroll down to where an Avatar can be uploaded from your machine.

Before you do this have prepared your picture, no more than 80x80 pixels and in JPEG of GIF format. RGB only, and of course nothing with adult or advertising content.

I'd like to see what more of us look like! My avatar was shot by published glamour photographer and good friend Paul Jones. (You can't tell? Oh well...)
Best regards, John

My avatar is not me - I'm not quite as good looking plus I'm male , but it was my first picture to get a 1st place in a camera club competition, so it means a lot to me.

Do you really want to see how ugly we all are John?

I'll track a pic down and change from the red lilly for a while, just so you can have a laugh.

My avatar is now me. Of all the shots taken in my 18 months of digital photography only 3 of them are me, and this is the best

Coincidentally all 3 were taken on camera club outings, in pubs, when I had sufficient to drink to lend somebody my camera to take a picture of me

When I'm next on a studio shoot I must get another photographer to take a decent picture of me.

I shall be reverting to my Lady In Red very quickly

Come on Hyram, Don,Edumad, let's see what you really look like.

As for pictures of myself, I've a similar problem to you Tim. Thousands of pictures showing the kids, the wife, complete strangers, but very few of me!
Cheers, HG

Sorry folks but I'm going to keep my ugly mug hidden. You can, with not very much detective work, find out who I am and what I look like, but I prefer to not give out too much info on forums. The fact that you have the town I live in is a bonus for you.
Oh, and should you take the time to track me down, I would really appreciate it if you didn't publish the details. Thanks.
