I have had a reply from Pentax. They have asked for a photograph to look at. Their first comment was to check the ISO, this is in fact 200 but the noise level is beyond belief! Will keep the info coming as I hear from them. Must admit to being surprised to hear back from them.

Thanks Tom, some very nice work. Some of the colour seems a little bleached out though. Good stuff all the same.
