Just watched the news, never thought I would see the BBC presenters getting excited about seeing an aeroplane coming into land. Just think, adults being excited by aeroplanes, whatever next. I expect someone will get worked up by watching old trains or cars...........

Pentax agreed to a refund in full for the W80. Thanks to the good folk at York Camera Mart (Pentax Pro Dealer). I am now the owner of a FT2, you will have to take my word for how good it is. Only played about with a couple of shots, the IQ is amasing and no noise. Might have considered a W90 if Pentax had only replied to my e mail. Now to dust off the Kayaks.

The Sponsored bike rise is over for another year, about 70 folk taking part. A few brave ones did it both ways but a grand day for it. Now having the first dram (I need a muscle relaxant)tomorrow I can let me tyres down for another year. Bretts cake sounds good, just what I could do with after day on bike. Getting rid of your daughter for the evening Dave, and you are shopping???

Sorry Dave, I new it was a poor line but I couldn`t stop meself. Had a good plate of pasta tonight. Carbo loading for tomorrow. Grass looks like it needs a trim over here in Suffolk. Well quiet, we live beneath a flight path. Not a problem but surprising how you notice the lack of noise.
Our Springwatch free twig has leaves and is now only about 4 inches shorter than it`s supporting cane. Good to have been part of the reforrestation of England.

Just wondered what 24 hours worth of non flyings worth of CO2 is. I value Stefan`s thoughts, I guess he might know what comes out of a jet pipe. Only a thought though nothing too serious.

Nature 1 aviation 0, great shame for folk needing to return from abroad. Looking positively though the drop in CO2 and other naughty stuff from jet engines from just a 24 hour stoppage must be huge.
Is it over the yardarm yet? Can`t see he he. Better have a drop just in case!
