Glenfiddich 12 year old on offer 21 little golden drinking tokens for 70cl from Mr Cohens place. Tastes like Diesel but it`s cheap.

It`s a challenge and I too push up my specs. Trouble is in bright sunlight I like to wear a peaked hat to shield the sun so pushing up the specs doesn`t work. Could do with a stand off viewfinder this would stop the greasy nose prints. I often use the eyecup from an ME.

I JUST bought an Acer Iconia Tab A200. Trying to fathom it all out at the moment. It has a micro SD slot as well as USB and Bluetooth.

Hints and ideas most welcome.

The DA*300 on the K5 is a formidable bit of kit. I sometimes use it with a 1.4 Tamron converter.

The K5 AF is much improved with the latest firmware onboard.

Joe, I couldn`t agree more. Mrs Cedric popped her laptop into a hard case with a USB stick still in. A very positive cracking sound indicated disaster. Some very tricky soldering and sticking in pins averted one but I wouldn`t want to try a repeat.

I was wondering about a Samsung Tablet but the price needs to drop a bit first though.

Morning everyone, thank you for your help with this. I just seems now like they are products from a far off time. Eiher they are not listed on websites or are out of stock and we don`t know if they will become available.

As for the laptop, well I found this model was very fickle with temperature problems. It just does not like handling 4 gbyte of files from my K5. I use it sat on a cooling fan. I suppose the ideal thing would be to load the files from cards to the PC but that`s two floors up but probably the answer. Would have been nice to store all the pix from say a week away on one portable device as a backup to the cards.

Dave, i am looking for a self powered portable drive that i can take out with me to save the contents of sd cards to then download to a pc at home. My laptop (Acer aspire 5736) does not like uploading big files from my K10D. It often shuts down without warning if I try loading up 2 or 3 gbytes in one go.

I can`t seem to find anything much about storing memory card contents to hard drive media. I would like to transfer from the card to a storage drive then download the drive to my PC. Anyonw have any suggestions please?
