Thanks Stuey, foot is quite numb now. Actually the whole body is numb. Had a couple of tumblers of grouse with Mathers. Better than any analgesic.

That's another weekend disappearing over the horizon. Had a great walk around Boyton RSPB marshes and now nursing a rather sore foot. I think the sole on my left boot yielded too much under the force of gravity and now the left arch is killing me. Deliberately avoided the sandwich van today in the hope that gravity wont suck me down quite so hard.

Those pockets could store beer.

There are a lot of Vauxhalls and Fords on the roads but few Rolls Royces.

Algi, I`m not taking any chances. Alcohol preserves, water dilutes. I rest my case.

Could be they died through the lack of it! The pots could have cracked and let the precious liquid trickle away. This would have prompted them to slake their first with water therefore bringing on early cases of death.

All the best with using a K5 Trev. Very pleased you are having good results and fun times with it. Great to share on this forum.

Saturday tea here is fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter with a beaker of two leaves and a bud.

Followed by a couple of beakers of Grouse & Mathers. Pouring with rain here in East Suffolk but at least it reached 13C. Dropping MAK off at the rail station tomorrow then off to point a lens. Enough camera talk now!

Here in the far East, yes, we have had some sun today! Plus wind and reign too!

Hope for a tad more sun on the morrow. Found an exciting little spot last weekend and we are going back there, sun permitting. Batteries are on charge, second beaker of G & M is about to follow tea and Monty Don is getting over enthused about a few cultivated weeds. Now please someone take us back to pointless.

Friday again! Grouse and Mathers night.... not that Friday night is any different to any other.
