Nice one HG, it`s amazing how grease solidifies and seizes things up. The old WD 39 & two halves is a good solvent and will wash out the old lube along with petrol. I reckon regular alcohol has much the same effect. It stops me seizing up, I have to get up at regular intervals.

Trip to RSPB Minsmere today. First time out with the K5 and DA 300* since the last firmware update.
I kinda forgot just how great this lens really is. It also seems to auto focus better than before too. It was a great exercise in managing with only one lens and body. Apart from the X5 (just in case LOL). With a determination to use just one lens and alter my position to suit I am well pleased with the days efforts.
