Had an evening listening to Black Dyke last night - mind blowing until they stuffed up with some Glenn Miller trash IMHO! Exceedingly talented muso`s, shame they are dying out. Only 6 brass bands left now in East Yorkshire. Looking at the audience in Ipswich Corn Exchange though it`s no real surprise, I can`t imagine them all being around at Christmas.

weather on Kintyre was excellent, only one day of gales. After that pretty well wall to wall sun, sheep and really nice folk. Especially those down Campbelltown/Macrihanish way.

Back now from two weeks in the the wilds of the Kintyre peninsular
A cracking time and well friendly people. Especially the lady from the Cafe in Southend. Her cakes are legendary and huge! and if anyone is passing, don`t, call in. Hey ho off to work we go, tomorrow.
