Thanks for sharing. Potentially a tripod and shutter release delay could assist in the future also. Still allows you to frame the shots etc.

I've just bought a new Sigma 18-250 from SRS and have been experimenting with the K5 in sv mode, using the wheel to adjust the iso value through the normal range, and checking out the results as I go. Wow! hand-held at the long end, indoors, yet still pin-sharp. And the lens is smaller and lighter than my short zoom.
The possibilities are endless.

However, all is not bad - pretty good in fact. Thanks to recent technology (particularly the excellent anti-shake in the K5) I am taking far sharper hand-held pictures now than I was in 1975 with my then state-of-the-art KX.
