This may or may not help....

An alternative would be to set the mode dial to manual and use auto ISO, this is then the equivalent of TAV mode and actully shows this as the mode on the back of the LCD screen (It is not an option on the mode dial on the K01). You select what shutter speed and F stop and the camera picks the appropriate ISO.

I use TAV a lot with the K5 and would have no hesitation in using it on my K01

I'm selling a mint Pentax 40mm f2.8 XS DA Lens which came with a K01 kit. This is the ultra thin pancake lens which is fast focusing and sharp. I have only tried it on my K01 once to make sure it worked as expected.

The reason for sale is that I also have the DA40 ltd so this is a duplication of focal lengths in my lens lineup.

It is unboxed but will be packed very well, I can post pictures if needed but as stated it is as new.

Further details on the lens link

Looking at £135 inc RMSD to UK

Payment by bank transfer or cheque, item sent once money received.

If there were any issues with the lens whilst under warranty then I would be happy to assist with warranty claims at the buyers expense. (came from Amazon)

If you live near Sheffield then feel free to inspect, collect in person.

George

Price Reduction £180 inc RMSD for body and genuine grip, boxed with all standard acessories and spare batteries.

One last try to get rid before I decide to keep as spare body or go
to e-bay. (I no longer have the magic lantern guide)

I use one of these and rest my camera on it whilst walking around, best thing is it doesn't like a camera bag and holds two bodies with lenses.

Could be just what you are looking for and a good price too...
I have a Classified 160W that is hardly used, slightly smaller than the 200 above. May suit your kit, if interested or just want a look pm me. I would have been interested in your 400AW had I not bought one a couple of months ago -

Not noticed a problem with the K5, so I've not checked it.

I am somewhat bemused by the 'fact' that different lenses need different adjustments. Surely the image falling on the sensor should tally with that on the 'focusing sensor' and simultaneously with that on the screen.
Once an adjustment is done, why would changing a lens alter it?

I have no idea.

Another strange one is that with my two K-5s, i have a couple of lenses that require adjustment on both K-5s, other lenses that require different adjustments on each K-5 and other lenses that require the same adjustment on both K-5s
My limited understanding (from an AP article a while back) is that cameras and lenses are built within certain tolerences, for example -5 to +5 (made these figure up). Hence a camera at -5 and lens at +5 would be well out and need adjustment, but with another lens at -3, the difference may not be noticable. We are talking tiny amounts of measurements on the built of the camera and lens, but it does explain why some lenses may seem fine to one person but other people think its rubbish.

Hope this makes sense.
